Where your consent is required for us to process your personal information, we will ask for your consent at the point at which you provide your data. Storing your personal information
Your personal information may be stored and processed outside of the country where it is collected, including outside of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. To do this, we make use of standard contractual clauses that have been approved by the UK authorities and the European Commission with our suppliers, or we implement other similar measures required by laws around the world.
We will only keep records of your personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which we have collected it, and in order to comply with any statutory or regulatory obligations in relation to retention of records. We respect requests to stop processing your personal data for marketing purposes. This includes keeping a record of your request indefinitely so that we can respect your request in future.

Avaline Aesthetics Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we look after it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

4. Why We Process Your Data & Our Legal Basis
Where we process health data, we rely on your explicit consent, given as part of your consultation form, as required for special category data under UK GDPR.
5. Who We Share Your Information With
We only share your data where necessary, including with:
AesthetiDocs (our booking and clinical documentation platform), who process data on our behalf
Payment processor via Stripe and Tide Banking, for handling deposits and payments
Prescribing practitioners, where a prescription-only treatment requires a separate prescriber's involvement
Insurers or legal advisors, if required in connection with a complaint or claim
Regulatory or legal authorities, where we are legally required to do so
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain clinical and treatment records for a minimum of 8 years in line with medicolegal record-keeping guidance for aesthetic practitioners, after which data is securely deleted. Booking and payment records are retained in line with UK tax and accounting requirements (typically 6 years).
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal and clinical record-keeping obligations)
Withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal)
Object to or restrict certain processing
Request a copy of your data in a portable format
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled
